Even with a protective suit a person has only twenty second to escape from a burning car due to the high temperatures.

The heavy trucks or class 8 tractors which are commonly called 18 wheelers are fitted with thin gauge aluminum which is side saddled and are as far away as possible from the chassis without any protection. Many truckers in the US die of fuel related accidents due to the unsafe positioning of fuel tanks.
